The New Kingdom (circa 1550 - 1069 BC)
AN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN ARTISAN IS THE ORIGINAL DESIGNER OF FUTURA RELEASE 04, A SEAL RING MADE FOR THE PHARAOH HOREMHEB.
An iconic necklace hand-crafted today in New York City with 18kt Fairmined Ecological gold and 18kt Fairmined gold chain.
The design is crafted exactly as the original, which was made over 3,000 years ago. This ring functioned as a stamp for sealing official documents by the Pharaoh.
The lion and crocodile are images of dangerous creatures mastered by the Pharaoh, who was considered the guarantor of order. These symbols (including the scorpion) were also believed to have apotropaic powers, which turned away harm or evil influences. So, when the seal was stamped on an official document it was then surmised to be protected from disobedience of royal orders.
Original ring that belonged to Pharaoh Horemheb made circa 1550 -1069 BC.
